In his October 7 Fox News interview with Bret Baier, Bezos said the U.S. has to beat China and put humans on the moon by 2028 — not a visit-and-leave, but “a real sustainable lunar base.” He’s put $28 billion into Blue Origin. New Glenn targets a December return to flight. That turns into the older argument: if we can barely keep a trailer standing in a Chicago parking lot, how did we plant a flag in 1969?
Later, the fellas dissect the drivers-ed trailer parked in a South Side Chicago high school lot — the beat-up portable where kids pay $50 for classroom hours and another $50 for six behind-the-wheel sessions, assuming the instructor shows up. From there it’s Kanye West, now Ye, packing stadiums again. Two sold-out nights at Soldier Field. SoFi in Los Angeles. A reported 118,000 at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. Bully out. After the antisemitic run and the Wall Street Journal apology, the shows are still selling. Some countries canceled. Chicago and L.A. did not.
The guys close on Somali-linked fraud. Minnesota’s Feeding Our Future case produced dozens of convictions. Federal prosecutors have described industrial-scale schemes across childcare, autism, Medicaid, and food programs, with estimates running into the billions. Recent search warrants hit Minneapolis-area centers. Then the movie The Menu — the fine-dining satire where the only person who walks out is the one who ordered a cheeseburger.
