Blagichka (Благичка) is the first zero waste restaurant in Bulgaria, while also employing young people at disadvantage. The place unites in the love for food and the preparation of quality and delicious meals and the belief that young people are the most important wealth, which our society has and should invest in. The team of Blagichka believes that eating is a ritual which brings us happiness and energy, that giving a chance to disadvantaged young people is a great mission, and that every effort not to throw away waste pays off. The core mission behind this initiative is to achieve a healthier, more socially responsible and environmentally friendly lifestyle and to spread awareness about it. In their daily work they follow the 5 principles of the philosophy ZERO WASTE: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot - compost.
