Small towns are revered for their tight-knit communities, spending Friday nights cheering for local high school sports and having people you can trust and rely on. But big city problems sometimes appear, and in 2000, the innocence of one small community was tarnished when the murder of a young mother revealed to the public that sometimes those in whom we put our trust are not always trustworthy.
