Today we're reading the Noah story in Genesis 7:1-10. If you’ve read the story of Noah and the ark, you probably know that Noah went into the ark 7 days before the flood came. But, have you ever asked why? This might seem like minor detail, but when we look at everything else in this story, it will show you that this detail is anything but insignificant. I’ve heard all kinds of theories about this 7-day waiting period, but I’d like to share a view that isn’t very well known.
