You probably know the story of Cain and Abel. But, there’s a dark truth hidden in the shadows within this story, that I missed for years. It has to do with this monster called “sin” that’s crouching at Cain’s door. But, it also involves the ground. And, maybe you’ve never considered this, but the ground is a consistent point of emphasis in this story for some reason. So, what really moved Cain to kill his brother Abel? What was happening in that moment? And, why is Abel’s blood said to be crying out to God from the ground?
