Welcome to the Two Hundred & Thirty First Edition of The Chronicles of Podcast, These are The Chronicles of Becky Baldwin II

We’re back with a brand new interview — and we’ve brought a returning guest with us! We are joined by the busiest bassist in metal, Becky Baldwin.

Becky joins us to catch up on everything she's been up to since we last spoke in 2023. We talk all about Fury's most recent album 'Interceptor' and touring with Phil Campbell, We find out how Becky went from being a stand in to a full time member of Mercyful Fate and how she feels about returning to Bloodstock to headline in 2027, the place this Mercyful Fate journey all began. Reuniting with Delilah Bon and working with Metal legend Tony Iommi on his new solo album 'From The Dark'. All this and much more!

Also this week, We start off this weeks edition with a chapter from The Book of Mary Mary. We talk about Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams being an absolute legend! We praise Dutch racer Loek Hartog for his heroic actions saving rival driver Ollie Millroy from a horrific crash, we question the existence of 'Powerslap' after the horrific injury of Jake Hager....why is this a thing?! We look at what it would be like if the people of Yorkshire took a leaf out of Donald Trump's book and renamed everything after them and Jamie gives his 'thoughts from the barbers chair' as well as highlighting a heroic boss of an ice cream store.

As always, the episode is stacked with fan favourite segments including Tom’s Journal featuring the funniest things on the internet this week, and Single of the Week highlighting two new music releases you need to hear. Jamie’s audience participation challenge asks what's an interesting fact about the city/town you live in or come from?
