Scott Leggo's path to becoming one of Australia's most recognised landscape photographers took in an Air Force career, frontline service, high performance aerobatic aircraft and a stint as a diplomat. The discipline and attention to detail from those years transfers directly into how he runs his photography business today.

Based in Canberra with a gallery, a team and over a million photos sold, Scott has built something genuinely rare, a commercially successful artist led business with Australian landscape photography at its core.

In this episode Scott talks about simplifying compositions by eliminating distractions, scouting on location rather than over planning, and how customer demand shapes his work more than personal preference. He also covers a successful COVID era jigsaw puzzle pivot, safety in remote environments and why conveying emotion has always been a bigger challenge for him than mastering camera settings.
