One of South Africa's fastest-growing sports content creators, David Brooke, host of The Biggest Man in Cricket, joined  Martin Myers on The Business of Entertainment on CapeTalk.

Brooke has spent his entire career in the business of sport, beginning as a sports journalist before moving into the commercial world of media, sponsorship and major sporting events.

In 2025, he launched The Biggest Man in Cricket, a long-form podcast featuring in-depth conversations with some of the biggest names in the game. Guests have included South African cricket legends:  Adrian Kuiper, Jimmy Cook, Peter Kirsten and many more 

What started as a passion project has rapidly become one of South Africa's leading independent cricket platforms, attracting more than 100,000 YouTube subscribers and demonstrating the growing power of creator-led sports media.
