I was recently at ITF World 2026 in Antwerp and attended a presentation by ASML’s CEO: Christophe Fouquet. As Fouqet crisply walked through ASML’s various initiatives, one product caught my eye: The eScan 2200, a multibeam inspection tool. This sparked my interest because I recognized its multibeam technology from a defunct Dutch lithography startup called Mapper Lithography. Mapper tried to take on ASML and EUV, but sadly failed. In today’s video, a TSMC-backed massively parallel e-beam lithography tech. Now like the phoenix, reborn.
