In this episode of 1Dime Radio, I am joined by my co-author David McKerracher (Dave) of Theory Underground to celebrate the release of our new book, Post-Left Theory: Beyond Marxism, Anarchism, and Vibes. We preview some of our spiciest essays, challenging the sacred cows of the contemporary left, from Marxism and anarchism to wokeism, feminism, gender relations, and the limits of left-wing politics. We also reflect on our experience at TUCON and CanonFest, discuss the crisis of modern intellectual culture, and introduce Dave’s new philosophy trading card game, Canon: TCG, including my adventures collecting and trading rare Hegel, Freud, and Leo Strauss cards.
In the Patreon-exclusive Backroom, Dave and I get even spicier with an uncensored discussion of modern dating, sexuality, relationships, and the battle between the sexes, featuring some of our most controversial hot takes yet. Become a patron to hear the full conversation and get access to over 100 exclusive episodes!
You can listen to 1Dime Radio on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get podcasts.
