25 years ago the very first entry in the “Fast” franchise hit theaters and began the film series that has spanned these past 25 years and gave us 10 films, 1 spinoff film and 1 animated series. The first film was directed Rob Cohen and is based on a 1998 Vibe magazine article that depicted street racing in south Los Angeles. The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster & Michelle Rodriguez. The film would go on to gross over $200 million dollars at the box office setting in the beginning of a brand new film franchise.
