35 years ago, an iconic film hit theaters that continues the story we began in 1984. This film saw James Cameron return as director and co writer along with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton from the previous film. Joining them for the sequel are Edward Furlong, in his acting debut, and Robert Patrick as the iconic villain, the T-1000. In this film, a T-800 terminator is sent back in time to the year 1991 to protect John Connor as a teenager before the T-1000 can get to him first. The film hit theaters nationwide on July 3, 1991 and became the highest grossing film of the year. Arnold Schwarzenegger would continue with the franchise for 2 more movies in 2003 & 2015. The sixth film in the franchise, “Terminator: Dark Fate” would see Hamilton join the cast with Schwarzenegger and Cameron was bought on a producer.
