Nine Mile Metals CEO Patrick Cruickshank joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss encouraging results from drill hole DDH WD-26-03 at the company's Wedge Mine project, where drilling continues to expand copper-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization.

Cruickshank said the hole successfully intersected pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization between 212.95 and 338.20 metres, extending mineralization identified in the previous WD-26-02 drill hole.

The hole encountered multiple favourable geological units, including chlorite-altered sediments associated with sulphide mineralization—an important indicator of VMS footwall alteration. A significant felsic volcanic sequence also hosted widespread pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization, along with traces of arsenopyrite, a recognized pathfinder element for gold.

One of the key highlights was the intersection of 2.4 metres of massive sulphides between 309.60 and 312.00 metres, containing coarse visible chalcopyrite. Visual estimates indicate the interval contains approximately 40–50% pyrite and 4–7% chalcopyrite, with sulphide mineralization continuing to 338.20 metres.

Cruickshank said each drill hole is being strategically fanned across the northern flank of the deposit under the guidance of Apex Geoscience, with every metre of core contributing to the company's evolving 3D geological model and NI 43-101 resource work.

With the majority of its planned 10,000-metre drilling program still to come, the company is now awaiting analytical results from ALS Global while continuing exploration to further define and expand the Wedge Mine mineralized system.

Management believes the latest drilling continues to demonstrate the scale and strength of the copper-dominant VMS system and supports the project's resource growth potential.
