Alex Baber has been getting a lot of attention in Zodiac circles, and in news media due to his claims that he has solved the Zodiac mystery, and that the killer was Marvin Margolis. But Baber's claims go beyond that, because he has also stated that Margolis was also the killer of Elizabeth Short; AKA, 'The Black Dahlia'.

Despite having a team of 'Experts' in his corner, people that know the Zodiac case well have pushed back on Baber's claims, and the more you look into Baber, the more troubling things you find that cast doubt on his claims, and undermine his credibility. In this episode, Mike Morford is joined by Dave Oranchak who has recently published a deep dive series of Youtube videos digging into Baber and his claims. Also joining Mike in this episode is Ned Dehan of Black Box Online radio who has heavily discussed both the Black Dahlia, and Zodiac cases.

This is the first of multiple episodes examining Baber's claims, and hopefully at the end of this series, listeners can decide is Baber onto something, or is he simply a con man.
