✍️ ABOUT CONFUCIUS

Kong Qiu (551–479 BC), known as Confucius, was a Chinese philosopher and statesman whose teachings on ethics, personal cultivation, and governance became the foundation of East Asian civilisation for over two millennia. Lionel Giles (1875–1958), curator at the British Museum and one of the foremost Sinologists of his era, produced this translation in 1907.
