Before Woodstock became one of the most legendary festivals in music history, there was another unforgettable night that almost descended into chaos…
In this episode of Beyond the Vibe, I sit down with Ric Lee, legendary drummer of Ten Years After, to hear the stories behind one of the most iconic moments of the 1960s.
Ric takes us back to the days surrounding Woodstock, including the wild night before the festival that ended in a riot, what it was really like being part of the Woodstock experience, and the incredible atmosphere surrounding one of rock music's defining events.
We also dive into Ten Years After, their legendary performance of I'm Going Home, life on the road, and Ric's memories of playing alongside some of the biggest names of the era.
