I'm joined by Troy Redfern as he takes us inside his forthcoming album 'Astral Doorways' a bold new instrumental project that takes his music in a completely different direction.Troy talks about stepping away from the high-energy slide blues sound many listeners know him for and exploring a much more adventurous musical landscape, drawing on progressive, jazz, world music and inspired by the late, great Frank Zappa. But that's only part of the story...We also get the incredible tale of the night Bumblefoot handing Troy his double-neck fretless guitar and sent him onto the stage with Anthony Gomes despite Troy having never played a fretless guitar before in his life! You Can Pre- Order Troy's New album here! : https://troyredfern.com/shop/vinyl-albums/astral-doorways-gatefold-transparent-red-vinyl-pre-order/
