In our first episode, Trixie, Maria and Céline nerd out on music: who we’re listening to, how we can be intentional in our music choices, and paying attention to the songs and messages that musical artists are putting out in the world. We talk about conscious consumption, representation and subjectivity in music, and explore how music can de-centre whiteness and build political consciousness. In our journey to a liberatory faith practice, we also unpack (and rant about) Christian worship music and how it is entwined in bad theology and white evangelicalism.
