Season 6, Episode 62: Interview with Haley Bishop (Haley) from “Host” (2020)

Step into one of the most innovative, terrifying, and culturally defining horror films of our generation: Host (2020).

In 2020, while the rest of the world was locked inside trying to figure out how to use Zoom, a group of filmmakers and actors used that exact technology to scare the absolute hell out of us. Shot entirely during lockdown, Host became a viral global sensation, pulling in a rare 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and forever changing the game for indie horror.

In this episode, I sit down with the brilliant Haley Bishop, who stood right at the center of that digital chaos. As the ringleader of the ill-fated Zoom séance, her own camera crew, and the ultimate survivor of the film, Haley shares what it was really like to film a masterpiece from her living room.

Make sure to go check out Host on Shudder or IMDb if you haven't already—just maybe don't watch it on your laptop alone in the dark...

A huge thank you to Haley for hanging out with us! Stay safe and stay spooky!
