Season 6: Episode 59: Interview with Madison Skyy Polan (Hannah) from Casper Kellys horror-comedy “Buddy” (2026)

Welcome back, movie lovers! In this exclusive interview, we’re diving headfirst into one of the wildest, most subversive genre films of the year: BUDDY, directed by cult mastermind Casper Kelly (Too Many Cooks), fresh off its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival!

The film takes the sunny, nostalgic world of a 1990s children's TV show and flips it into a twisted, hilarious mascot slasher.

I’m joined by the incredibly talented Madison Skyy Polan! She went straight from voicing the beloved Agnes in Despicable Me 4 to dodging a bloodthirsty giant unicorn mascot as Hannah. We talk about:

• How she approached playing a cheerful newcomer thrust into a living nightmare.

• How she tapped into genuine fear on a wild horror set.

• Behind-the-scenes secrets and much more!
