My Thoughts on The Strangers (2008): I Loved It. I’m Checking the Locks. - Fantasy for the Ages | Lyssna här

I finally watched The Strangers (2008), and OH BOY. Great movie. Terrible for sleep.

Some movies spend years on your watchlist. This one finally made it onto my screen during work travel—and immediately made a quiet evening feel considerably less relaxing.

Join Jim for a spoiler-lite review of Bryan Bertino’s home-invasion horror thriller starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. I cover the terrifying premise, skillful direction, excellent performances, and how this film gets so much mileage out of so little. Plus: five reasons to watch, three reasons to pass, and whether I’m ready for more films in the series.

Expect enthusiasm, nervous laughter, and newfound appreciation for a properly locked door. No major plot reveals or ending spoilers.

Have you seen The Strangers? Did it leave you checking the locks, or did the scares fall flat? Share your thoughts below—and keep spoilers clearly marked!
