New York's medical aid in dying law took effect August 5, 2026. A care-coordination business was ready for it. Quiĕtus connects terminally ill New Yorkers with physicians, coordinates the certifications, prescribing and mental-health evaluation, prepares families, can have clinicians in the home on the day of death, and helps with cremation and funeral arrangements. It charges an administrative fee; clinicians bill separately.
