For over 30 years, Bob McGurty has worked in leadership, missions, nonprofit development, coaching, and cross-cultural ministry—living in the United States, United Kingdom, Bangladesh, and India. He currently serves as Executive Director of Calcutta Mercy, a nonprofit focused on feeding, educating, and medically assisting people in India.
He describes himself more as a mentor, networker, and storyteller than anything else and enjoys sharing meaningful experiences, lessons learned, and honest conversations—usually with a little humor mixed in.
Over time, his personal journey became the foundation for a new coaching and speaking platform called Rickshaw Journey, centered around the idea of “finding your voice.” After decades of leadership, ministry, successes, failures, reinvention, and reflection, he has become passionate about helping people—especially men in the second half of life—rediscover purpose, authenticity, and legacy.
