Vini de Groove's cultural and musical journey throughout Latin America

Vini De Groove is a multi-instrumentalist with more than twenty years dedicated to the evolution of his craft. His artistic path deepened in 2010 when he traveled to Spain to study Flamenco guitar, where he discovered that music extends far beyond melody, rhythm, and dance. Within flamenco he encountered something deeper — the story, history, and spirit that live inside the music. From that moment, he understood that to truly absorb a culture, one must go directly to its source.

Driven by this philosophy, Vini spent over fourteen years traveling throughout the Americas in search of the regional rhythms and cultural traditions that shape musical expression. The last eleven years of this journey have been rooted in Brazil, where he now lives and continues to immerse himself in the country’s rich musical landscape.

Through these experiences, his work has expanded beyond performance into storytelling and documentation. As a way of giving back to the culture that profoundly influenced him, he recently published a book and released a self-produced audiobook with an original soundtrack, recounting his journey to the source of the rhythms and traditions he encountered across Brazil.
