Wake up honey, it's time for another Resident Evil reboot! This time, Zach Cregger steps up to the plate with his own interpretation on the iconic survival-horror video game series.

Following Austin Abraham's Bryan as he sets out on a mission to transport some important cargo through the isolated Arklay Mountains and into the famous Raccoon City, Zach Cregger's take on Resident Evil promises a focus on the mutations, the atmosphere and the survival aspects of this beloved franchise.

But how does this adaptation stack up? After a whole franchise, a second reboot and a short-lived Netflix adaptation, have fans of the franchise got something that finally gives the thrills, kills and chills of the video games series?
