Spooky Season is upon us but we've got one more Video Nasty up our sleeve, as we look at the highly controversial Antropophagus, also known as Antropophagus: The Beast, The Grim Reaper and The Savage Islands.

From the twisted mind of Joe D'Amato who made more horror/sci-fi/spaghetti westerns/erotic movies than you can shake a stick at, Antropophagus is a film that stamped itself into the annals of the Video Nasty era with some rather interesting scenes.

But what else is there? Is this an Italian horror worth checking, or is this just people bumbling around on an abandoned Greek island until someone gets slain?
