But Chad’s story doesn’t end with a traditional retirement. What started as a routine arrest at the Los Angeles County Fair turned into a multi-year federal investigation, criminal charges, and a fight against the very system he once served.
After facing the FBI, the Department of Justice, and multiple trials, Chad was ultimately exonerated, but the personal and professional cost of that battle changed everything.
This is a conversation about policing, pressure, perception, and what happens when the system turns on one of its own.
