Inspired by his mother to always work hard, Diego grew up with values that, later in life, he would put to use. He is an example of a young guy who wasn't too sure of his direction and then became a man of dedication and resilience. He often competed without the desired results but would return to competitions every time. Eventually, after much determination and accumulated experience, his dream came true.
