October on TikTok: Kelly Clarkson in Brooklyn, Molly the Bird, and Halloween Candy

On this week’s episode, Dena and Catalina kick things off with a Congo Basin update (@ash_dykes has finally arrived) before diving into the drama surrounding Kelly Clarkson’s trip to a store in Brooklyn (@itscatsullivan), with additional commentary on the intersections between this and the Issey Miyake dress discourse from @outofthewei. @colesteven11 predicts some halloween costumes that might come out of the debacle. In the FYP segment, Dena shares what every play title sounds like (@erikouille), a bar mitzvah entrance staged like a prison escort (@joe_and_tell), and the birth year watch and bag trend (@drkaitlindo). Catalina’s algorithm served up a woman speaking Llanito, the mix of English and Spanish spoken in Gibraltar (@shakuenrile), and reactions to Ohio political ads (@fartsmella_02). Wrapping up with Food/Drink, they discuss candy corn content from @kidcuisinebrownie, which leads Catalina to reveal her notes app list of candy she hates.
