Friends of the Rosary,
Today's Sunday readings speak about God feeding His people. In the first reading (Isaiah 55:1-3), God invites everyone who is thirsty and hungry to come to Him. He offers what truly satisfies, not just food for the body, but for the soul. Many things promise to fill us, but only God can give peace that lasts.
Saint Paul also gives a beautiful reminder (Romans 8:35, 37-39): nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Not suffering, weakness, fear, or hardship. God’s love is stronger than all of it.
The Gospel (Matthew 14:13-21) shows Jesus feeding the five thousand. The disciples see the crowd and think only of the problem: too many people, too little food. Five loaves and two fish look small, but in the hands of the Lord they become enough.
Our faith may feel small. Our patience may feel small. Our strength may feel small. But when we place it in Jesus’ hands, He can multiply it.
We bring Jesus what we have, even if it is small. He asks us to offer what we can, and let Him provide what is missing.
