How is it possible to reach agreement on international law? Today our topic is international law, and I’m talking to Dr. Brendan Plant. Dr. Plant is Hopkins–Parry Fellow and Director of Studies in Law at Downing College and Affiliated Lecturer in Law at the University of Cambridge, in Cambridge, England. Dr Plant was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales and before the High Court of Australia. He was previously a Research Fellow in Public International Law at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) in London, where he co-authored the book Evidence before the International Court of Justice. On the podcast Brendan talks about how diversity contributes to the international system, and his path to Cambridge as an international student. He encourages learning as much as you can about the world as a step to getting involved in international law.
