35: Compulsory LGBT+ Inclusive Education With Emma Fay

In September 2020 LGBT+ inclusive education became compulsory by law for schools in England.

I’m talking to Emma Fay, the Director of Education at Just Like Us, a brilliant charity empowering LGBTQ+ young people from the classroom to their careers.

This episode is a history lesson as well as the complete low down on everything you need to know about what your child will be taught/should be being taught, in the different school years and how you, as a parent can support your child’s school in rolling out the curriculum.

This is an exciting landmark moment that is going to change the future for LGBTQ+ young people.
