In November 1966, respected Buckinghamshire doctor Helen Davidson was brutally murdered while walking her dog in Hodgemoor Woods, leaving her fox terrier as the sole witness. There was no clear motive for the strange killing. The local police, assisted by Scotland Yard detectives, initially focused on Helen's husband and their housekeeper. Later, more information would come to light, along with other tragic deaths connected to the case and the discovery of a further key suspect.
