In January 1990, Ontario was gripped by one of Canada’s largest manhunts in 15 years. Peter John Peters, a violent ex-convict known as ‘The Tattoo Man’, terrorised the province for several days, leaving a trail of theft, assault and murder. From the brutal killing of a 63-year-old cleaner to the stabbing of two young women and a bank robbery, his crime spree tested law enforcement and left communities in fear.
