Life is not a race, but a journey. A journey to find your best self, to live your best life. A journey to be savored, not rushed through. It’s never too late to start something that’ll bring you closer to that goal.
Who cares what other people think about what you’re doing, the changes you want to make, or where you are along the path. The worst thing you can do is just stay stuck and unhappy because you care about what other people think more than your own happiness.
A race is a competition, it’s exhausting, it’s the fastest to the end. Why would you want to treat your life that way?
Slow down, make the changes, start whenever you like.
