Welcome back to the Client Case Study Series! 


Today I’m talking to Surya Milner who’s the co-founder of Empress of Ghee, which makes small-batch, grassfed ghee in Montana. She's also the creator of East/West, a Substack devoted to helping women heal their bodies through ancestral foods, movement, and connection with the divine.


I’ve had the pleasure of working with Surya for multiple rounds of Attraction by Design over the last 1+ years. 


When she came to me, she had no business…she’d been selling her small-batch ghee at a farmers market as a hobby & had about 43 IG followers. 


What’s covered in her case study: 

  • Where Surya was before reaching out to me (no business, ~40 IG followers, dabbling at the farmers market, wondering “would anyone want this?”)

  • Surya’s biggest wins (quitting her job, profitable year 1, charging premium prices, becoming a nationwide brand with 30+ retailers, won $20k at a venture competition, monthly sales, recurring revenue, hiring an employee)

We kept her strategy SIMPLE & leveraged AI so she was able to achieve all of this WHILE working full time (before quitting) AND planning her wedding.

She was able to overcome the “cringe” factor & have fun with selling (in a way that felt 100% authentic to HER).
