Born in Los Angeles, CA in 1981… Rowland Dark grew up in the suburbs and loved vinyl, tapes and Rock n Roll! In 1990, he heard “Enjoy the Silence” while living in Argentina and that song stamped a permanent moment that would ultimately produce “Rowland Dark”. Using The Nord Lead 2X virtual analog synthesizer and skills learned from The Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA… he produced his first album titled“X Songs”, which is a 10 track electronic, dark and new wave project heavily inspired by his heroes… Depeche Mode. Rowland Dark now performs around the US and Mexico and has sang his original music in Europe. He is now in the studio working on his new album “Y”.
