Singapore investors can now access some of the world's biggest companies without leaving the local market. The Singapore Exchange has launched its first US-listed Singapore Depository Receipts (SDRs), giving investors exposure to Grab, Sea Limited and SpaceX in Singapore dollars, during local trading hours, and with lower investment amounts.

But what does this mean for everyday investors? Could this help make the SGX more attractive as more Singaporeans seek global investment opportunities? And which high-profile US-listed companies could be added next?
