Some fresh graduates are landing jobs within weeks of finishing university. Others are sending out hundreds of applications, making it through multiple interviews, and still coming up empty-handed.

So why are their experiences so different?

Despite there being enough entry-level jobs to absorb new graduates, many of those opportunities aren't in the industries young people aspire to join. At the same time, employers are becoming more selective, salary expectations are shifting, and AI is changing how candidates are screened and hired.
