The Chicago White Sox adding Luis Arraez in the offseason makes sense, but a hard truth lingers, he simply doesn’t fit the South Siders’ lineup. Host Todd Welter breaks down why Arraez’s elite contact hitting isn’t enough to secure him a spot, with Gold Glove finalist Chase Meidroth locking down second base and the team prioritizing power and flexibility at DH. The discussion explores Chicago’s playoff decisions, including the pinch-hit debate surrounding Munetaka Murakami and Randal Grichuk, fan reactions to the season-ending loss, and what’s ahead for Colson Montgomery amid trade speculation. Hear insider insights from SoxOn35th’s Jordan Lazowski and get the latest on roster strategy, GM Chris Getz’s offseason outlook, and why accountability isn’t in question after a surprising postseason run. Are the White Sox set up for sustainable success, or is another bold move needed?
