Someone once said that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. This is true not just about secular history, it's true with our Christian walk. The Old Testament is not meant for us to follow to the letter as those in the Hebrew Roots Movement claim; nor is it meant to be unhinged from the New Testament because it's an irrelevant stumbling block as Andy Stanley and New Testament Christians claim. The Old Testament needs to be studied and understood in order for Christians to more fully understand and appreciate the New Testament. "To neglect the Old Testament is to neglect the New Testament."
