Bring Out Your Dead! Wait... Bring Back Your Dead! - S2 E13

Max finds out that New Amsterdam is dumping patients to lower its mortality rate.  He then goes and brings all of the patients back to New Amsterdam and converts a wing of the hospital into a fully functional comfortable and uplifting place for patients to live their final moments not matter how long.  Dr. Bloom tells Dr. Reynolds that he is the outcast on the staff after she ignores a patient’s DNR so that the patient can meet her grandchild who was born as the patient enters cardiac arrest. As a result of Dr. Blooms comments Dr. Reynolds accepts the position in San Francisco.
