Europa Report accomplishes a lot with a small budget for space traveling science fiction storytelling. The decision to shoot the film out of sequnece and to use the found footage style was an excellent way to lean into the realistic aspect of the film while also trimming the budget. The question discussed; does the movie do enough to keep the film compelling?
