Cigarettes Are Like Potato Chips You Can't Have Just One!

Cigarettes are like the old Lays potato chips commercial with the slogan, "betcha can't eat just one." In the original commercial former NBA stars Kareem Abdual-Jabbar and Larry Bird were hanging out in a basketball gym with Kareem eating out of a bag of Lay's potato chips. Kareem made a bet with Larry that he couldn't eat just one potato chip. Larry ate one chip and of course wanted more and lost the bet. At the end of the commercial he walked alongside Kareem sporting a bald head having lost his hair in the wager.

After you quit smoking the 'You Can't Have Just One' principle applies as well. Just like a bag of potato chips, as an Ex-Smoker it's very difficult to have just one single cigarette and stop yourself from having more. For the majority of Quitter's it's unrealistic to be a part-time smoker and limit yourself to the occasional cigarette here and there. Whether it's one cigarette or one potato chip, your mind and body will crave more and moreand moreand moreand more.
