On a Friday night in April of 1987, Sarah Boyd, her two-year-old daughter Kimberly, and their friend Linda McCord left for a gospel concert in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. Witnesses saw them arrive. Witnesses saw them leave. Then, somewhere on the road home, all three vanished. Two days later, Linda’s blue Lincoln turned up abandoned at a rural crossroads—twenty minutes in the wrong direction. There were no signs of a struggle, no evidence, and no trace of Sarah, Kimberly, or Linda. What followed was a case filled with unanswered questions: a mysterious blue car, troubling allegations, strange sightings, and decades of silence. This is the disappearance of Sarah Boyd, Kimberly Boyd, and Linda McCord—and this is their story.
