What Everyone Missed In The Narnia Trailer

Hollywood is taking us back to Narnia, but what message is coming along for the ride? Greta Gerwig's upcoming The Magician's Nephew features Meryl Streep as the voice of Aslan, the majestic lion through whom C.S. Lewis portrayed Jesus Christ, and the song chosen to accompany the trailer, Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven." But before we get swept away by the familiar music and imagery, there's something you need to know about the stairway and where it leads. Today, we'll examine these decisions and what they mean for Hollywood's adaptation of Lewis's beloved work. Pastor Josh Schimmel will join us to unpack the true meaning behind "Stairway to Heaven" and explain just where the Piper is calling you to join him.
