1404: Lukewarm With the Door Closed (Revelation 3:15–22) // To the Seven Churches 23 (Nathan Johnson)

Of all the letters, the one to Laodicea contains the sharpest rebuke from Christ. The church has nothing good to say about it, and yet, while there is a warning if they don’t repent, there is also an amazing invitation into relationship and intimacy with Jesus Christ. In this study, we examine Revelation 3:15-22 and explore Jesus’ statements about lukewarm living, what that likely meant and why Laodicea was considered lukewarm, as well as Jesus’ invitation back to relationship through repentance.
