Born in Melbourne, Australia, Fiona Mhairi Fletcher’s love for beauty began in the most natural way — watching her mother apply makeup and carefully recreating the ritual on the faces of her favorite dolls. What began as childhood fascination soon revealed itself as something deeper: a calling toward beauty, healing, and transformation.
At the age of five, Fiona’s family set sail to the idyllic Isle of Seil, Scotland, the homeland of her father. There, surrounded by sweet-smelling heather and the salty sea air, her intuitive connection to nature blossomed. She spent hours outdoors collecting flowers and herbs, instinctively blending them into tinctures she lovingly offered to siblings and friends — often received with playful eye rolls, yet always accepted as her “healing potions.” Even then, Fiona understood that beauty and wellness were intertwined with the rhythms of the earth.
After the sudden passing of her father, her family relocated to Northern England, where her mother had been raised. At eighteen, Fiona formally pursued her passion, enrolling in a prestigious City & Guilds Royal Charter Beauty Therapy program. She expanded her training to include holistic bodywork, mastering massage therapy, reflexology, Reiki, Indian head massage, and aromatherapy — creating a foundation that blended clinical skill with energetic awareness.
By age twenty-one, Fiona opened her first business — a bold step that reflected both her entrepreneurial spirit and her devotion to helping others feel confident and radiant. In 2001, she met her husband Tim — “the old-fashioned way,” as she playfully says, “in a bar.” Tim, a retired U.S. Naval officer, spoke passionately of Michigan, and in 2012 they relocated to the picturesque lakeside town of Harbor Springs.
There, Fiona founded PUR Therapies, a holistic spa devoted to beauty, restoration, and empowerment. PUR Therapies offers result-driven facials, massage, and a wide range of therapeutic treatments in an inviting environment designed for relaxation and renewal. Known for high-quality products, meticulous attention to detail, and Fiona’s deeply personalized approach, the spa has become a sanctuary where clients leave feeling both radiant and restored.
In addition to running a thriving business, Fiona continues her academic and spiritual growth through her studies with Quantum University, where she is pursuing the PhD track in Natural and Integrative Medicine. Her expanding knowledge bridges science and holistic wisdom, further strengthening her mission.
