Neil and Janet Young invite us into A New Obedience—a fresh responsiveness to the voice of God that prepares us to step into new territory.

Through the story of Peter and Cornelius in Acts 10, they remind us that new territory often requires new instruction. Obedience is not simply repeating what God asked us to do before; it is listening for what the Master is saying today, even when it challenges what feels familiar, comfortable, or previously successful.

This message calls us beyond an obedience built around rules, outcomes, or recognition and into a life of relational surrender. Whether God asks us to do something significant or seemingly small, obedience is not measured by our deliverables but by our devotion. As we learn to listen, trust, and follow again—even when we are misunderstood—we position ourselves to participate in the new things God desires to do in our lives, our church, and our city.
