This week, Alan continues in Isaiah 35 and Isaiah 62 with a reminder for every anxious, weary, or waiting heart: "Behold, your Savior comes." God has not forgotten or forsaken His people; He comes as our restorer, deliverer, redeemer, and great rewarder, turning places of abandonment into amazement, grief into gladness, and wilderness into wonder. The wilderness may whisper that we are unseen and that the best days are behind us, but God declares that the dry land will rejoice and the desert will bloom. As we turn our eyes upon Jesus and behold His faithfulness, anxiety loses its hold and joy begins to overtake us. This message invites us to stop interpreting the wilderness as evidence of God's absence, to trust the hidden work He is establishing in us, and to believe that He is bringing redemption to our dry places, planting us in faithfulness, and releasing a fresh oil of gladness and joy.
